Horizon MBA

WHAT IS IT?

A beginner-level 13km kayaking trip around the Boucherville Islands (in Montréal) for all HEC MBA 2020 graduates (full-time and part-time), our professors, and the MBA office team.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN?

We are doing this for fun, but also to support of the Charles-Bruneau Foundation’s research into curing childhood cancers. Over 2000 children in Québec are living with cancer. 30% of childhood cancers are not curable. Funds supporting the foundation go toward research to improve childhood cancer survival rates and, ultimately, to find a cure.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

All participants are committing to raising $500 for the Foundation through a combination of fundraising events organized by the AEMBA and personal fundraising. As a team, we are all working together to our common goal, but each cohort will be encouraged to compete against one another to raise the most (for an awesome prize).

» If you don’t want to kayak, we will want your help to reach the goal set by your friends and colleagues!
