We are the ‘HUB’ for knowledge, dialogue and opportunities relating to Sustainability at HEC Montréal. We work to support the integration of sustainability into business culture and to tackle social and environmental challenges in our communities.
Our Team
President - Ricardo Jordan
Ricardo holds a Bachelors in mechanical engineering from McGill University. He has more than 8 years of experience helping to grow small and medium businesses in the clean tech sector, both as a project engineer and as a business development manager. He is passionate about technology, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. He enjoys cycling, windsurfing, and skiing.
Treasurer - Samantha Streater
Samantha is passionate about using the power of food systems to support community well being & climate change solutions. The majority of her experience has been in marketing strategy in the specialty cheese industry. Her favorite cheese is Le Gruyere!
Stakeholder Engagement - Gautam Panikkar
Gautam graduated with a master's degree from Arizona State University and worked in the United States in renewables including solar and energy storage. He is passionate about decarbonization revolution, climate change and the transition to a net-zero future.
Academic Outreach - Camilo Ricaurte
Frustrated musician turned into tech sales expert, Camilo has always had a deep sensitivity that has led him to implement sustainable practices in his workplace and support different social organizations. He is striving to gain the tools in the MBA to enter CSR enabled ventures that contribute towards a better future through building scalable solutions for todays issues.
Communications - Sugandha Gupta
Sugandha is a lover of all kinds of art and passionate about creating awareness for sustainable lifestyles and practices. She comes with experience in publishing and graphic design. You can listen to her podcast on minimalism here.
Events - Shubham Chowdhury
Shubham is an architect with extensive experience in the design and certification of green buildings. Perpetually enthralled by the natural world, Shubham is a bio-mimetic, cradle-to-cradle and environment responsive design enthusiast and amateur naturalist.
